Another month, another wrap up. However, unlike last month, I actually got some good reading done. Want to see which books captured my reading heart in April? Keep on reading!

What I read this month
Reviews for April 2019
And I Darken (The Conquerers Saga #1) by Kiersten White
Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte
Ivory and Bone (Ivory and Bone #1) by Julie Eshbaugh
A Love Letter Life: Pursue Creatively. Date Intentionally. Love Faithfully. by Jeremy and Audrey Roloff
Skyward (Skyward #1) by Brandon Sanderson
Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller
Favourite Read of the Month
I cannot believe it took me so long to read a Brandon Sanderson book, but here we are. Skyward (Skyward #1) was everything I was hoping it would be: adventure, defiance, and more than one truly epic space cadet. If you, like me, haven’t picked up a Sanderson book, might I suggest you start in a very similar fashion to me.
Least Favourite Read of the Month
While I didn’t dislike Ivory and Bone (Ivory and Bone #1) by Julie Eshbaugh, I found it didn’t measure up to the other books I read this month. It teetered on being an average YA historical fiction novel, with a more unique premise brought down by cookie cutter characters in a hate to love relationship. However, for a $5 purchase on Book Depository, it could have been worse.
